Today i will explain you, how does stress affect a women's body ?  Stress and Women's Health.  The recent surveys indicates woman are more effected by stress compare to men.  The effect of stress on their physical health more than men.  Stress is something that affects all of us, stress not only affects of our thoughts, moods, and behavior.  it can also effects throughout the body. Stress management is as necessary to a healthy life-style as healthy eating, exercisesand sleep.

1. How Stress Effects on Brain and Muscles :

Under stress, the hypothalamus signals the ANS and the pituitary gland to release cortisol and epinephrine's, the stress hormones. when stressed, you may contract your muscles 
causing stiffness. Muscle contractions in the neck or head can cause tension headaches, which are common and can range in severity and duration.

Excessive cortisol can interfere with learning and memory. Stress can also trigger the brain to halt non - essential tasks, resulting in hair loss.  Elevated levels of cortisol may increase the risk of mental illness.

2. How Stress effects on Cardiovascular system :




Stress increases risk of heart attack, hypertension and stroke.  A study of nurses in Denmark showed work pressure put women at a higher risks of cardiovascular disease and job strain increased the thickness of the carotid artery, an early sign of heart disease.  Increased muscle tension, chronic musculus skeletal pain. Tension headaches, and muscle tension severe enough to limit activity can lead to atrophy.

3. How Stress effects on Respiratory system :


Stress can cause labored breathing, asthma attacks, and rapid breathing and panic attacks. 
And also effects on nasal cavity, pharynx,oral cavity, tongue, trachea, pleura,right lung diaphragm,larynx, epiglottis, bronchus, left lung.

4. How  Stress effects on Liver :


During the fight or flight response, the liver secretes increased glucose, for some vulnerable populations such as american and people who are already overweight, the extra sugar in the blood stream can cause diabetes.

5. How stress effects on Digestion :




Smoking or overeating due to stress can cause heartburn and acid reflex, nausea and pain in stomach, constipation and diarrhea.

6. How stress effects on Reproduction :



Stress can cause missed periods, cramping and longer periods, delay of ovulation, which can affect fertility, stress and the consequent fatigue can reduce sexual desire, and increased symptoms of cramping, bloating and mood swings.  when your body release too much cortisol during the periods of extreme stress, for instance the brain puts reproductive functions on hold. cortisol signals your body to stop producing estrogen and progesterone. this causes irregularities or cessations in your menstrual cycle. Stress can affect metabolism by changing the way glucose is released into the bloodstream.

Regular Exercise, Meditation, Good Enough Sleep can reduce stress. Drink plenty of water, Do not skip your Breakfast, Eat Healthy Food, And Daily Positive Affirmations can reduce stress miraculously.
